After series of negotiations the MOA between PELCO I & AESI has finally been inked Friday, March 20, 2009 at the Multi-Purpose Hall of PELCO I HQ in Sto. Domingo, Mexico, Pampanga.
Signatories to the MOA were: GM Loliano E. Allas, witnessed by Finance Manager Ofie Quizon for PELCO I, and Executive Vice President and COO Benjie A. Cariaso, Jr., witnessed by GM Aaron O. Berin for AESI.
The momentous signing signaled the one thing that would lead to another. Expected to follow suit soon hopefully are: PELCO III, PELCO II & PRESCO, all ECs within Pampanga Province, as well as ZAMECO II in Zambales Province.
The signing was held during a formal program prepared by PELCO I staff in an ambiance appropriate for the occasion against a tarpaulin backdrop prepared by AESI. The Department Heads and some employees of the electric cooperative attended the signing. Also in attendance were former NEA Official Atty. Frank Aquino and his former NEA colleagues, as well as AESI Consultant Jun Alferez, himself a former NEA Director.
